Reciprocal Linking

When two websites agree to swap links with each other. For example, Company A puts a link to Company B on their partners page, and Company B likewise links back to A. Exchanging links was very common in the early days of SEO (think webrings and blogrolls), and even today it happens quite naturally among businesses that partner or friends’ sites that want to recommend each other.
