Hi there, I’m Joe Youngblood founder of Joe Youngblood SEO & Digital Marketing Consulting and various other brands that help businesses succeed online. I’m also a long-time dog foster parent. I started helping rescue dogs when in 2009 I took in a 2 month old pit bull puppy that I named Luke Skywalker. I spent years fostering injured and sick dogs until I was given my greatest challenge, a shepherd mix that I eventually adopted and named Axle “Han Solo” due to his propensity for running away and doing things his own way. During my years as a foster I noticed upfront the issues dog rescues have and the horribleness of the system. I also noticed how bad most dog rescues were at digital marketing, website management, and SEO.

Now, a little over a decade later my team and I would like to announce a new project to do our part. We call it The Good Hooman Project

The Good Hooman project is our way of helping those who help dogs find a better life in hopes of using our skills and talent to put some good into this world and smiles on the faces of dogs and dog parents alike.

Registered non-profits such as 501(3)c dog rescues or adoption agencies can apply to join The Good Hooman Project below. Please note we rigorously vet all groups who wish to join The Good Hooman Project to ensure we only work with registered non-profits who care about dogs in need in their area.

Our program leverages existing infrastructure, assets, skills, knowledge, and remnant time of our staff to help your non-profit gain more donations, rescue more dogs, and help more dogs get adopted. For example members of The Good Hooman Project will be able to post a cute photo or video of a dog up for adoption on our growing page “We Review Dogs” and we’ll push this out to a wider audience on Facebook, we’ll help protect your rescue’s website and keep it updated, we’ll optimize your website for search engines and for load speed, and we’ll even help your rescue or adoption agency run ads on Google for free.

Here’s everything members of The Good Hooman Project are currently eligible for:
