Description
Moz’s Keyword Explorer is a well-rounded keyword research tool that aims to be your one-stop-shop for keyword research. The tool pulls in data from various sources including Google Ads Keyword Planner, Google Autocomplete / Search Suggest, and Google Related searches. The tool also (or at least used to) use clickstream data from a million searchers in the USA to help understand the data and has a proprietary methodology for determining the monthly search volume range of keywords. The tool also attempts to estimate the difficulty of ranking in SEO on a keyword using Moz’s massive in-house datasets which sets it apart from most other keyword tools which simply use the competition metric provided by Google Ads based on advertising.
