We have acquired the code, rights, and userbase for the Website Announcement Bar web app. Website Announcement Bar is a free to use simple web app that allows any website to generate an announcement bar that appears at the top of the website.

A small microservice that could have a big impact for all kinds of businesses, and it is completely free for anyone to use. Website Announcement Bar uses a simple drag and drop builder which allows site owners to create an aesthetic and functional announcement bar in seconds combining icons, text, and a call to action button.

The installation is also incredibly simple, just one line of code needs to be added to your HEAD tag. Then you can toggle the bar off and on whenever you like via the tool’s dashboard.

Website Announcement Bars look great on desktops, smartphones, tablets, and even large curved monitors. The tool has been tested for compatibility with WordPress, Drupal, Magento, Wix, Squarespace, and Shopify – and should function on all types of websites. We will start rolling this function out for our clients where it makes sense in the coming weeks.
